Website Development Cost in Pakistan: PKR Prices by Site Type

The short answer

Four Pakistani firms' published prices, checked on November 1, 2026, put a small business website at roughly PKR 15,000 to 120,000 and an online store at PKR 45,000 to 200,000, with larger builds above that. The build price is only the first bill: the domain, hosting, revisions and maintenance sit outside most packages, and hosting often renews at a higher rate.

How much does a website cost in Pakistan?

A small business website in Pakistan costs from about PKR 15,000 to 120,000, and an online store from about PKR 45,000 to 200,000, going by the prices four Pakistani firms publish on their own pages, checked on November 1, 2026. Custom sites with many pages, integrations or a custom checkout start around PKR 150,000 and go up from there.

The articles that rank for this question give broad ranges such as "PKR 15,000 to 1,500,000+" and mostly do not say where the numbers come from. Nexus.pk says its table was "compiled from 2026 pricing published by multiple Pakistani web development agencies" without naming one. This page names the firms, links the price pages and says what each package contains. None of the figures here is a 1920 Agency price.

Published website prices in Pakistan, by firm

These are one-time build prices in PKR as printed on each firm's own pricing page on November 1, 2026. Where a firm prices in US dollars, the PKR figure is the firm's own conversion; none states the exchange rate it used.

Firm Small or business site Online store What the page says is included or excluded
Website Pakistan Starter PKR 15,000 to 25,000 (up to 5 pages, theme-based); Professional PKR 30,000 to 55,000 (up to 10 pages, custom); Enterprise PKR 60,000 to 150,000+ Starter Store PKR 45,000 (up to 50 products); Professional PKR 85,000 to 140,000 (up to 500) Hosting and domain not included; 3 revision rounds, then PKR 2,000 a round
Magric Solutions Basic PKR 25,000 to 45,000 (up to 5 pages); Business PKR 55,000 to 120,000 (up to 15 pages); Enterprise PKR 150,000+ WooCommerce PKR 60,000 to 100,000 (up to 50 products); custom design PKR 120,000 to 200,000 Delivery 2 weeks to 6 to 10 weeks; no effective date or renewal terms on the page
Websitedevelopers.pk Starter US$200 (about PKR 70,000); Growth US$650 (about PKR 180,000) Shop Lite US$450 (about PKR 125,000); Shop Pro US$1,200 (about PKR 330,000) Starter includes free SSL and one year of hosting setup; no exchange rate stated
FMEOS Starter PKR 49,000 (1 to 3 pages); Pro PKR 110,000 (1 to 5 pages) Custom e-commerce quoted Free domain and consultation; no hosting; Starter has 1 revision
Ezitech Starter Rs 35,000; Business Rs 55,000 E-commerce Pro from Rs 1.2 lakh First-year domain, hosting and SSL included, per its page

Three things stand out. First, the same job is priced very differently: a starter online store is PKR 45,000 at one firm and about PKR 125,000 at another. Second, a "page" means different things, from a theme-based layout to fully custom design. Third, none of the five pages says whether its prices include sales tax, so ask before you compare.

What drives the price of a website?

Six things move a quote more than the "type" of site does: how custom the design is, how many pages, who writes the content, how many tools it connects to, how many revision rounds are included, and how fast it must load.

  • Custom design or a theme. Magric Solutions prices a theme-based WordPress site at PKR 20,000 to 40,000 and a custom WordPress build at PKR 50,000 to 90,000 on the same page.
  • Page and product counts. Every firm in the table prices by pages or products (5, 10, 15 pages; 50 or 500 products).
  • Content. Websitedevelopers.pk lists copywriting from US$20 a page (about PKR 6,000) as an add-on; Ezitech says to add PKR 50,000 to 200,000 if the agency must write copy or source images. A package that excludes content leaves you with empty pages.
  • Integrations. Payment gateways, CRM links, booking and tracking setup. Websitedevelopers.pk lists Meta Pixel, GA4 and Tag Manager setup as a US$65 add-on, so tracking is not assumed to be in the base price.
  • Revisions. Website Pakistan includes three rounds and charges PKR 2,000 per round after that. FMEOS Starter includes one.
  • Speed and structure. Google's guidance for a "good" experience is a Largest Contentful Paint within 2.5 seconds, Interaction to Next Paint under 200 milliseconds and Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.1. A cheap build on a heavy theme can miss all three, which is a cost that shows up later in search and ad performance.

What does each type of site cost?

The ranges below come from the firms in the table above, not from a survey.

Site type Published range (PKR) Typical scope in those packages
One-page or starter site 15,000 to 49,000 1 to 5 pages, theme or light customisation, contact form
Small business site 25,000 to 120,000 5 to 15 pages, custom design, basic SEO setup, a few revisions
Online store (starter) 45,000 to 125,000 Up to 50 products, payment gateway, theme-based
Online store (growing) 85,000 to 330,000 Up to 500 products, custom design, discounts, tracking
Custom or enterprise 150,000 and up Unlimited pages, integrations, performance work, project manager

The ends of these ranges are not comparable. The low end is a themed site with the hosting, domain and content left to you. The high end includes design, tracking and testing.

The costs that come after the build price

The build price is the first bill, not the total. Four items recur, and quotes often leave them out.

Domain. PKNIC, the .pk registry, charges Rs 2,100 a year for registrants based in Pakistan from August 1, 2026, up from Rs 1,800, billed every two years. Several guides still print the old figure, so check the registry or your registrar.

Hosting. Prices depend on the plan and the contract term. Hostinger Pakistan's page, checked November 1, 2026, lists its Single plan at Rs.399 a month for a 48-month upfront payment of Rs.19,152, and says it renews at Rs.999 a month for the same term. Multiplying that renewal rate by 48 months gives Rs.47,952, our calculation, not a figure on the page. The Premium plan starts at Rs.599 a month and renews at Rs.1,699. This is one provider's price, not an endorsement. The point holds for any host: ask for the renewal price, not the first-term price.

Maintenance. The firms we checked list monthly care plans from PKR 5,000 (Website Pakistan's Basic Care) and PKR 8,000 (Magric Solutions) to about PKR 17,000 (Websitedevelopers.pk's Care plan, US$60). They cover updates, backups and uptime checks, with a small number of content edits. Ezitech advises budgeting 15 to 25% of the build cost each year, which is its own rule of thumb, not a measured figure.

SSL. A certificate does not need to be a recurring cost. Let's Encrypt, run by the nonprofit ISRG, states that anyone who owns a domain can get a trusted certificate "at zero cost." If a quote charges a yearly fee for a basic certificate, ask what it adds.

If you sell on Shopify, the platform fee is separate from the build. Shopify's Pakistan pricing page, checked November 1, 2026, shows its plans in US dollars: Basic at US$19 a month billed yearly (US$25 billed monthly), Grow at US$49 (US$65) and Advanced at US$299 (US$399). Card processing fees apply on top.

What a small site costs each year after launch

A small site's yearly running cost can pass its build price. The table annualises the figures above for one small business site: the Website Pakistan Professional build, a .pk domain, Hostinger Pakistan's Single plan and Website Pakistan's Basic Care plan. The yearly figures are our arithmetic from each firm's published price, not prices on their pages.

Line Calculation Per year (PKR)
Build, once Website Pakistan Professional, up to 10 pages 30,000 to 55,000, one time
Domain Rs 2,100 every two years (PKNIC) 1,050
Hosting, first term Rs.19,152 over 48 months 4,788
Hosting, after renewal Rs.999 x 48 = Rs.47,952 over 48 months 11,988
Maintenance PKR 5,000 a month (Basic Care) 60,000
Running cost, first term 1,050 + 4,788 + 60,000 65,838
Running cost, after hosting renews 1,050 + 11,988 + 60,000 73,038

On these figures the site costs more to keep running for one year than the low end of its build price. That is not a reason to skip maintenance. It is a reason to choose it on purpose: a brochure site that rarely changes can run on a simpler plan, while a site that takes enquiries, orders or ad traffic needs backups and updates. Our guide to what SEO costs a small business shows the same pattern: the monthly item outlasts the project price.

Where quotes differ: scope, not price

Two quotes at the same price can buy different sites. Before you compare, put these questions to every firm:

  1. How many pages and templates, and is the design custom or a purchased theme?
  2. Who writes the text and supplies the images, and is that in the price?
  3. Are the domain, hosting, SSL and business email included, and what do they cost from year two?
  4. How many revision rounds are included, and what does an extra one cost?
  5. Which tools are connected on launch day: contact forms, WhatsApp, payment gateway, Google Analytics, ad pixels?
  6. What speed and mobile targets will it be tested against?
  7. Who owns the site, the hosting account and the domain after launch?
  8. Is sales tax included, and in what currency and at what exchange rate is the price fixed?

Question seven matters most. The domain and hosting account should be in your name, so that you can move the site if the relationship ends.

Freelancer, small agency or software house

Prices drop and risk rises as the team gets smaller. Ezitech lists hourly rates of PKR 500 to 1,500 for freelancers, PKR 1,500 to 3,500 for small agencies and PKR 3,000 to 8,000 for established software houses. These are one firm's figures and nothing on the page says how they were measured.

A freelancer suits a defined job such as a template site or a landing page. A team suits a build that needs design, development, content and tracking to line up, and that needs someone to answer after launch. If the site will carry paid traffic, check that the build includes the tracking that Google Ads and Facebook ads reporting depend on; fixing it later costs more than including it.

How 1920 Agency approaches a website quote

1920 Agency is based in Islamabad, with locations in Rawalpindi and Lahore, and does not publish website prices. A site's cost depends on pages, content, integrations and upkeep, so we map the job first and then quote a fixed scope with each included item listed. That lets you compare it line by line with the firms above.

If you want a quote built that way, see our web design and development service. If the site needs to be found, the SEO packages guide shows what Pakistani firms charge for the work that follows the build.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost in Pakistan?

Published prices checked on November 1, 2026 run from PKR 15,000 (Website Pakistan's Starter, a theme-based site of up to 5 pages) to PKR 150,000 or more for a custom build. Magric Solutions lists PKR 25,000 to 45,000 for a Basic site and PKR 55,000 to 120,000 for a Business site. The price depends on page count, how custom the design is and what is left out.

How much does an e-commerce website cost in Pakistan?

Named firms publish PKR 45,000 (Website Pakistan, up to 50 products) to PKR 60,000 to 100,000 (Magric Solutions, WooCommerce, up to 50 products) for a starter store. Websitedevelopers.pk lists US$450, which it converts to about PKR 125,000. Stores with hundreds of products, custom checkout or stock-system links run from PKR 85,000 into the hundreds of thousands.

How much does a WordPress website cost in Pakistan?

Magric Solutions lists PKR 20,000 to 40,000 for a theme-based WordPress site, PKR 50,000 to 90,000 for a custom WordPress build and PKR 80,000 to 150,000 with WooCommerce. WordPress itself is free software; the price pays for design, setup, content and testing. Hosting and the domain are normally extra.

What are the yearly costs after the website is built?

A .pk domain costs Rs 2,100 a year for Pakistan registrants from August 1, 2026, according to PKNIC. Hosting, maintenance and content updates come on top. Hostinger Pakistan's shared plans, for example, are priced on a 48-month term and renew at a higher monthly rate, and the firms we checked list maintenance from PKR 5,000 to 17,000 a month.

Is a freelancer cheaper than an agency for a website?

Usually the sticker price is lower, but Pakistani price pages rarely say what a freelancer's price leaves out. Ezitech lists hourly rates of PKR 500 to 1,500 for freelancers and PKR 1,500 to 3,500 for small agencies. Compare the same list: pages, revisions, content, hosting, testing and what happens after launch.

Do website prices in Pakistan include hosting and a domain?

Not always. Website Pakistan states that hosting and the domain are not included. FMEOS lists a free domain but no hosting. Websitedevelopers.pk includes one year of hosting setup in its Starter package. Ask which items are included and what each costs from year two.

How long does it take to build a business website?

The firms we checked state 2 weeks for a small site (Magric Solutions, Websitedevelopers.pk), 3 to 4 weeks for a business site with a content system, and 6 to 10 weeks for an enterprise build. Ezitech says 4 to 8 weeks for a designed business site and 8 to 14 weeks for e-commerce. Content that arrives late is the usual cause of delay.

Does 1920 Agency publish website prices?

No. 1920 Agency maps the job first (pages, content, integrations, tracking and who maintains it) and then quotes a fixed scope. The quote lists what is included so it can be compared line by line with any other.
