Case study
Progen Aesthetics: a faster clinic website, built to be found.
Progen Aesthetics is a laser and aesthetics clinic in Bournemouth, UK. We replaced its ageing WordPress site with a fast, custom-built website and run its search programme: treatment pages, researched patient guides, technical fixes and daily monitoring.

The starting point
The clinic's old WordPress site was slow, hard to keep secure and difficult to update. Treatment pages did not answer the questions patients ask before they book, and the site sent mixed signals to search engines.
What we built
- A custom static website: pages load fast because there is no database or plugin stack to wait for.
- Clear treatment pages that explain who a treatment suits, how it works and what to expect, written to UK advertising rules for clinics.
- An enquiry route on every page, privacy and cookie wording that matches what the site actually uses, and Microsoft Clarity with form inputs masked.
- A journal of researched patient guides, published through a checked editorial process rather than in bulk.
How we run it
- Google Search Console connected and read every day; new pages pushed to Bing and other engines through IndexNow.
- A daily crawl that catches broken links, missing titles and pages that should not be indexed, with fixes shipped as they are found.
- Releases are tested before they go live and checked on the live site afterwards, with a report to the clinic's team channel.
Results
The new site went live on 16 October 2026, so it is too early for fair before-and-after numbers. We will add them here once there is a full season of data and the clinic has agreed to publish them.
